Partnership with Lucy Baney Family Reunification Center
We are excited to announce our partnership with the Lucy Baney Family Reunification Center in Bridgeport. This center provides vital services such as on-site childcare, family counseling, parenting skills development, job training, and other resources to support women’s transition after incarceration. Statistics show that many incarcerated women face addiction issues, making their reentry into society more complicated. To address this, we will offer a sober living option on the second floor of the Brooks St. house for those ready to move forward from the Baney Center and continue their recovery journey.
Renovation and Expansion of Supportive Recovery Housing
Our commitment to creating supportive recovery housing continues with the renovation of the property at 931 Noble Ave. The house is currently unoccupied, and this project will entail a complete renovation. Upon completion, the house will add eight revenue-generating units and rooms.
Capital Raise in 2025
Looking ahead, we plan to launch a capital raise in 2025. This initiative aims to secure the funds necessary to complete the restoration of 931 Noble Ave and the surrounding property, which encompasses the three structures on the property. It is currently estimated that $500,000 will complete our goals.
Building New Relationships
As we progress, we continue to commit to forging relationships with untapped resources and organizations that align with our mission of supporting those in need. These partnerships will improve our ability to offer comprehensive assistance and ensure our clients access all the support they need for successful reintegration into society.
